1. PROJECT REQUIREMENT -
I.

The scope of this project is to deliver, install and test, and commission the UTP cabling end-to-end from the user's workstation to the patch panel.

The tenderer shall ensure all existing network equipment/component/cabling is functioning before and after project implementation. The tenderer shall be responsible for any damage that occurs.

The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in the form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

2. UTP CABLING REQUIREMENT
-
I.

The intra-building UTP cabling is required to provide network nodes with end-to-end solutions from the faceplate to the patch panel/access switch.

II. The UTP-based cabling system shall have a 250 MHz Channel Bandwidth over a maximum distance of 100 meters (328 ft) and a positive channel Attenuation-to- Power Sum Crosstalk Ratio (PSACR) at 250 MHz.

III. The UTP-based cabling system shall use matched components from a single manufacturer, and the cabling system shall be certified to deliver system performance over the lifetime of the applications for which the cabling system was originally designed to support.

V. The UTP cabling shall include all necessary items for a complete installation such as a proper trunking and conduit, patch cords, cross-connect cables, cable guides, RJ45 modular jack, and other accessories required to connect specified end-stations (faceplate) to the patch panel.

4. TECHNICAL/OPERATING MANUAL, ENGINEERING SERVICES, AND OTHER ACCESSORIES -
I. The tenderer shall provide a user operating/technical manual for UiTM referral.

6. WARRANTY -
I.

Twenty (25) years of extended product and application warranty maintenance support from principle or distributor consists of equipment part replacement WHICH covers end-to-end copper cabling, outlets, and jacks within the horizontal cabling of a Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6A structured cabling system which has been tested and certified.
