2. PROJECT REQUIREMENT
|

|
|
I. This project's scope is to deliver, install, and test the on-site network access switch to Kolej Kediaman, UiTM.

II. The tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability, and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

III. The tenderer must provide all other related materials, components, cabling, and accessories required to ensure the entire operation and integration with new or existing equipment.

IV. The tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment and shall be responsible for any damage that occurs.

V. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing systems. Should any component that needs to be addressed shall be proposed by the tenderer.

VI. The tenderer must ensure all network access point installation and configuration are done by professional network engineers. Note: Please attach at least ONE(1) Network Engineer Certification and Co-curriculum Vitae (CV). **PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION RELATED TO THE COMPANY'S NAME, LOGO, REGISTRATION NUMBER, ETC. VII. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in the form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

VIII. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT) and the tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

IX. The tenderer must affix a sticker on every network access switch with details such as company name/logo, project number, contact number, and device hostname. The sticker must be durable, long-lasting, and easy to read.

X. The tenderer must propose and provide genuine products. The refurbished and OEM product is not accepted. XI. Network access switch configuration will be done by UiTM but if there is any issue, the tenderer needs to help so that good service quality is achieved.

I. User operating/technical manual shall be provided by the tenderer.

6. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

I. The tenderer is required to perform the installation, testing & commissioning on-site for the supplied item at the location specified by UiTM.

II. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test and Delivery Order. The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

III. The tenderer must provide training for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of the system which must cover OS & System administration during the installation process for UiTM’s personnel if needed.

7. WARRANTY AND SUPPORT

|
I. TWO (2) years of maintenance support consisting of equipment faulty Replacement (Next Business Day) and software upgrade shall be provided.

II. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test run, and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on the installation, commissioning, and test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period

III. Maintenance support is needed during and after the warranty period. Tenderers must provide details of addresses of locations of after-sales service centers that shall be responsible for maintenance work for these items during the warranty period.

IV. Free support through fax, email, and telephone must be provided during the warranty period.

V. Response time to attend to a problem call breakdown of equipment or component is MAXIMUM 4 hours.

8. DELIVERY PERIOD

I. The delivery period must be within 8 weeks after the tenderer has received the Offer Letter.
