1. PROJECTS REQUIREMENT

I. Tenderer needs to install cat 6 UTP cable and dismantle existing UTP cabling. It is up to the tenderer whether to install new cabling or dismantle the old cable. Can be done according to tenderers convenience. Notes: Please refer to UiTM Staff for detailed work location.

II. Tenderer should make additions of the nodes if there is any insufficient without any charges to UiTM.

IV. Tenderer shall submit installation report for each nodes to UiTM for approval.

V. Tenderer should ensure all existing network equipment/component/cabling is functioning before and after project implementation. Tenderer MUST responsible for any issue as listed above.

2. PRODUCTS REQUIREMENTS
|

|
|
I. The intra-building UTP CAT 6 cabling is required to provide network nodes end-to-end solution from faceplate to patch panel.

II. The UTP-based cabling system shall have a 250 MHz Channel Bandwidth over a maximum distance of 100 meter (328 ft) and a positive channel Attenuation-to- Power Sum Crosstalk Ratio (PSACR) at 250 MHz.

III. The UTP-based cabling system shall use matched components from a single manufacturer, and the cabling system shall certified to deliver system performance over the lifetime of the applications for which the cabling system was originally designed to support.Please attach the Authorized Letter (LOA) from principle.

IV. All components used in the UTP-based cabling system shall have warranty for a period of at least 20 years from date of installation against defects in materials and/or workmanship. Please attach the letter of warranty (LOW) from principle.

V. The UTP cabling shall include all necessary items for a complete installation such as a proper trunking and conduit, patch cords, cross-connect cables, cable guides, RJ45 modular jack and other accessories required to connect specified end-stations (faceplate) to the patch panel.

VI. All horizontal cabling shall be at least of Category 6 UTP cable or above and must comply with EIA/TIA recommended standard.

VII. Adequate numbers of UTP patch panels shall be provided and must equip with modular jack for the UTP cables termination in the proposed rack.

VIII. All proposed UTP cables must be terminated into RJ-45 outlets contained in faceplates and UTP patch panel. Each faceplate may consist of one or more RJ45 outlets depending on UiTM requirement.

IX. Tenderer must follow the standard specification electrical material approve list by JKR. Please attach material approve list by JKR.

3. CABLE LABELING

I. Tenderer shall ensure all cable-ends must be labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting and waterproof.

4. TECHNICAL/OPERATING MANUAL, ENGINEERING SERVICES AND OTHER ACCESSORIES

5. WARRANTY

I. Twenty (20) years of maintenance support from principle consists of equipment part replacement WHICH covers all permanent copper cabling, outlets and jacks within the horizontal cabling structured cabling system which has been tested and certified. **Please attach Letter of Warranty (LoW) from Principle.

6. DELIVERY PERIOD

I. Delivery period must be within 18 weeks after tenderer has received the Offer Letter.
