I. The proposed item must be new product and not refurbished or OEM product.

II. Tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

III. All other related material, components, cabling and accessories which are required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment of the item must be provided by the tenderer.

IV. Tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer. Note: Please refer to UiTM Staff for detailed installation location.

V. Tenderer must ensure all switches installation and configuration are done by professional engineers. Note: Please attach Engineer Certification and Co-curriculum Vitae (CV). **PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION RELATED TO THE COMPANY'S NAME, LOGO, REGISTRATION NUMBER, ETC. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE ERASED AND NOT BE READABLE.

VI. All other related material, components, cabling and accessories which are required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment of the item must be provided by the tenderer.

VII. Tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra / equipment. The tenderer shall be responsible for any damage occurred.

VIII. Tenderer must proposed and provide genuine product. Note: Please attach the Letter of Authorization (LOA) from Principle. **PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION RELATED TO THE COMPANY'S NAME, LOGO, REGISTRATION NUMBER, ETC. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE ERASED AND NOT BE READABLE.

IX. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by tenderer so that good service quality is achieved.

X. All proposed software must be complete a working model with educational licensing and discounts and must be a GENUINE COPY.

XI. Tenderer must document all switches configuration, management IP address and location in hard copy and must be submitted to UiTM.

XII. Tenderer must supply an equivalent or better switch model from the same product family.

X. Tenderer is required to perform the installation, testing & commissioning on-site for the supplied item at the location specified by UiTM.

XIV. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test and Delivery Order. The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

I. The Switch must support at least forty-eight (48) 10/100/1000Mbps PoE++ Ports for down link interfaces.

II. The Switches must support at least Four (4) 1000Mbps SFP ports for Uplink interfaces.

III. The Switches must be Power over Ethernet (PoE++) capable switch.

I. The Switches shall support minimum 512MB DRAM.

II. The Switches shall support minimum 128MB Flash memory.

I. The switches shall support at least 104Gbps switching fabric and 52Gbps forwarding bandwidth.

II. The switches shall support at least 70 Mpps forwarding rate.

III. The Switches shall configurable up to 16,000 Unicast MAC addresses.

IV. The Switches shall configurable up to 1024 IPv4 multicast routes and IGMP groups.

V. The Switches shall support 256 active VLANs and 4094 VLAN IDs.

I. The Switches shall support 802.1X features to control access to the network.

II. The Switches shall support Multidomain Authentication to allow an IP phone and a PC to authenticate on the same switch port while being placed on appropriate voice and data VLANs.

III. The Switches shall support Access Control List (ACL) for IPv6 and IPv4 security and Quality of Services (QoS).

IV. The Switches shall support Port-based ACLs for Layer 2 interfaces to allow security policies to be applied on individual switch ports.

V. The Switches shall support BPDU guard to shut down spanning-tree Port Fast-enabled interfaces when BPDUs are received to avoid accidental topology loops.

VI. The Switches shall support basic Layer 3 features such as RIP and Static Routing.

I. The Switches support SSH, Kerberos, and SNMPv3 to provide network security by encrypting administrator traffic during Telnet and SNMP sessions.

II. The Switches support TACACS+ and RADIUS authentication to facilitate centralized control of the switch and restrict unauthorized users from altering the configuration.

III. The Switch support console port at least RJ45-Ethernet, or USB-Mini B.

IV. The switch can be manage both by cloud and physically.

I. User operating/technical manual shall be provided by the tenderer.

II. All necessary adapters, cables and other accessories required shall be provided by the tenderer.

I. All related catalogue/brochure shall be provided by the tenderer.

I. Minimum THREE (3) year of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day 8x5xNBD) and software upgrade shall be provided. Note: Please provide Letter of Warranty (LoW) from Principle.**PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION RELATED TO THE COMPANY'S NAME,LOGO, REGISTRATION NUMBER, ETC. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE ERASED AND NOT BE READABLE.

II. Tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on installation, commissioning and test run shall be borne by tenderer during the warranty period.

III. Free support through fax, email, telephone must be provided during the warranty period.

IV. Response time to attend to a problem call breakdown of equipment or component is MAXIMUM 4 hours.

I. Delivery period must be within 18 weeks after tenderer has received the Local Order.

II. If there is a delay in project delivery, Tenderer must apply for extension at least 1 month before the delivery period ends.
