1. PROJECT REQUIREMENT

I. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

II. The proposed item must be new and had been in market for less than 18 months, and not refurbished.

III. The tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

IV. All other related material, components, cabling and accessories, which are required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment of the item, must be provided by the tenderer.

V. The tenderer MUST make sure all works done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment. The tenderer shall be responsible for any damage that occurs.

VI. The tenderer shall provide the latest fiber panel models and technology to UiTM.

VII. The tenderer MUST ensure all fiber panel installations to be done by an experienced technician.

2. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS
|

|
|
I. The tenderer shall supply a fiber panel in 1U of rack space.

II. Fiber panel should support at least 6 Core fiber with SC Connector.

|
III. Fiber panels MUST conform to the EIA/TIA recommended standard.

|
IV. The fiber panel shall use matched components from a single manufacturer, and the cabling system shall certify to deliver system performance over the lifetime of the applications for which the cabling system was originally designed to support.

V. The Fiber panel shall support the pullout drawer enabling ease of access to the fiber.

VI. The Fiber Panel shall support a wide range of fiber optic cabling management accessories, including fiber management clip, splice cassettes, cable grounding kits, and cable entry gland.

VII. The unused adapter ports in the fiber panel shall be covered by port caps.

VIII. The Fiber Panel shall support a complete line of accessories to secure, organize and protect fusion spliced fibers; including splice cassette kits, splice cassette expanders, fusion protection sleeves and protection sleeve holders.

IX. The tenderer must follow the standard specification electrical material approval list by JKR. **Please attach a material approval list by JKR.

X. Tenderer must provide a genuine product. The tenderer must be supported back-to-back by a principal (manufacturer) to provide maintenance services for equipment supplied. The tenderer should attach a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from Distributors/ Principal. ** PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION RELATED TO THE COMPANY'S NAME, LOGO, REGISTRATION NUMBER, ETC. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE ERASED AND NOT BE READABLE.

3. CABLE LABELING
|

|
|
I. The tenderer shall ensure all cable-ends at fiber panel must be labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting and waterproof.

4. TECHNICAL/OPERATING MANUAL, ENGINEERING SERVICES AND OTHER ACCESSORIES

|
|
I. The tenderer shall provide a user operating/technical manual for UiTM referral.

II. The tenderer shall provide all necessary adapters, cables and other accessories required in order to allow the system to work.

5. CATALOGUES/BROCHURES

|
|
I. Tenderer shall provide all related catalogue/brochure.

6. DELIVERY PERIOD

|
I. Delivery period must be within 18 weeks after tenderer has received the Offer Letter.

II. If there is a delay in project delivery, Tenderer must apply for extension at least 1 month before the delivery period ends.

7. WARRANTY AND SUPPORTS

|
I. ONE (1) year of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day) and software upgrade shall be provided. Please attach Letter of Warranty (LoW) from Principle. ** PLEASE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION RELATED TO THE COMPANY'S NAME, LOGO, REGISTRATION NUMBER, ETC. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE ERASED AND NOT BE READABLE.

II. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run, and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on the installation, commissioning and test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period.
