1. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

I. Tenderer shall execute a fiber splicing task. Notes: Please refer to UiTM Staff for exact installation location.

II. Tenderer shall calculate exact fiber splicing needed and if there is additional splice required, tenderer must complete it with no additional cost to UiTM.

III. Tenderer MUST ensure all fiber cabling installation to be done by professional engineer. IV. Tenderer shall submit installation report for each point fiber splicing to UiTM for approval.

V. Tenderer should ensure all existing network equipment/component/cabling is functioning before and after project implementation. Tenderer MUST be responsible for any issue listed above. VI. Tenderer must proposed and provide genuine product. 2. FIBRE CABLING REQUIREMENTS
|

|
|
I. All fibers must be field terminated using fusion-splicing with factory prepared pigtails to minimize signal loss and attenuation.

II. Tenderer must follow the standard specification electrical material approve list by JKR. Please attach material approve list by JKR.

III. All cabling must conform to EIA/TIA recommended standard.

IV. Tenderer shall provide a testing result for all completed splicing work. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test and Network Diagram" The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

3. CABLE LABELING
|

|
|
I. Tenderer shall ensure all cable-ends must be labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting and waterproof.

II. Tenderer shall provide the test result for each network point by hardcopy.

4. TECHNICAL/OPERATING MANUAL, ENGINEERING SERVICES AND OTHER ACCESSORIES

|
I. Tenderer shall provide user operating/technical manual for UiTM referral.

II. All necessary adapters, cables and other accessories required shall be provided in order to allow the system to work.

5. DELIVERY PERIOD

|
I. Delivery period must be within 18 weeks after tenderer has received the Offer Letter.

II. If there is a delay in project delivery, Tenderer must apply for extension at least 1 month before the delivery period ends.

6. WARRANTY

|
|
I. ONE (1) year of maintenance support consists of component faulty replacement (Next Business Day) and software upgrade shall be provided. Response time to attend to a problem call breakdown of equipment or component is MAXIMUM 4 hours. The support must be within 8 hours of working days. **Please provide Letter of Warranty (LoW) from principle.

7. OTHERS
