1. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

I. A total number of Cloud Managed Wireless Access Point 802.11ax 4X4 required for this project is 28 units. The units distributed as per below:

II. Tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

III. Tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

IV. The proposed wireless access point must be new and not refurbished or OEM

V. Tenderer must ensure that the supplied hardware meets the specified specification requirements and if there is any problem regarding the hardware model, the tenderer must replace it with hardware that is equivalent or better than the specified specifications

VI. Tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

VII. Tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment and shall be responsible for any damage occurred.

VIII. All other related material, components, cabling and accessories which are required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment of the item must be provided by the tenderer.

IX. Tenderer must document all wireless access point configuration, management IP address and location in hard copy and must be submitted to UiTM.

X. Delivery period must be within 18 weeks after the tenderer has received the Local Order

XI. If there is a delay in project delivery, Tenderer must apply for extension at least 1 month before the delivery period ends.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT
|

|
I. The wireless access point shall support IEEE 802.11ax (WiFi-6) standard dual concurrent 802.11ax or better architecture to deliver better performance for advanced applications.

II. The wireless access point is able to support backward-compatibility with 11ac/a/b/g/n client devices.

A ) All necessary adapters, cables, and accessories required shall be provided to make sure this project is well function.

X. The wireless access point must support 1 x 2.5 GE port (PoE+) compatible port to realize greater throughput and supports Power over Ethernet (802.3 at/bt) for flexible installation over 100 meters (328 feet).

XI. The wireless access point must support Cloud-manage of an unlimited number of APs.

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
|

|
|
I. Tenderer must ensure the installation of the wireless access point at the optimum level and if the installation of L Bracket is required in a particular location, the tenderer must provide it.

II. The tenderer shall provide a security lock for each access point installed to avoid theft.

III. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by the tenderer so that good service quality is achieved.

IV. Tenderer must affix a sticker on the access point with details such as company name or logo, project number, contact number and device host-name. The sticker must be durable, long lasting and easy to read.

V. Tenderer must ensure all cable-ends and wireless access points are labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting, and waterproof.

VI. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in a form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

VII. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

VIII. User manual/operating manual must be provided in the User Acceptance Test.

IX. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on installation, commissioning and Test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period.

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
|

|
|
I. Minimum (3) year of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day 8x5xNBD) and software upgrade shall be provided.

II. Maintenance support is needed during and after the warranty period. Tenderers must provide details of addresses of locations of after sales service centers that shall be responsible for maintenance work for these items during the warranty period.

III. Free support through fax, email, telephone must be provided during the warranty period.

IV. A maximum of 4 hours response time to attend to problem call on breakdown of equipment or component is to abide by the tenderer.

5. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

|
I. TENDERER MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND MUST BE PRESENTED IN THIS DOKUMEN TEKNIKAL

II. User operating/technical manual shall be provided upon project completion.

IV. The tenderer must be supported back-to-back by a principal (manufacturer) to provide maintenance services for equipment supplied.
