1. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

I. The scope of this project is to deliver, install and configure, testing and commissioning Wireless Access Point 2 x 2 MIMO and the tenderer shall Install and configuration 698 units Access Point.

II. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

III. The tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

IV. The tenderer needs to propose heat map analysis before doing installation for wireless access point at every location or building involve in this project.

VI. All documents, design and heat map data during analysis must be presented to UiTM and being documented in hardcopy and softcopy

VII. The tenderer must ensure the proposed wireless access point is a new and not a refurbished or OEM product. The tenderer shall be responsible if there is any issue regarding the product’s authenticity.

VIII. All proposed software must complete a working model with educational licensing and discounts and must be a GENUINE COPY.

IX. The tenderer must ensure that the supplied hardware meets the specified specification requirements and if there is any problem regarding the hardware model, the tenderer must replace it with hardware that is equivalent or better than the specified specifications.

X. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

XI. The tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment and shall be responsible for any damage occurred.

XII. All other related material, components, cabling and accessories which are required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment of the item must be provided by the tenderer.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT
|

|
|
I. The wireless access point shall support IEEE 802.11ax (WiFi-6) standard Dual concurrent 802.11ax or better architecture to deliver better performance for advanced applications.

II. The wireless access point is able to support backward-compatibility with 11ac/a/b/g/n client devices.

A ) All necessary adapters, cables, and accessories required shall be provided to make sure this project is well function.

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
|

|
|
I. The tenderer must ensure the installation of the wireless access point at the optimum level and if the installation of L bracket is required in a particular location, the tenderer must provide it.

II. The tenderer shall provide a cage for every access point installed to avoid theft and the cage must come with a padlock.

III. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by the tenderer so that good service quality is achieved.

IV. The tenderer must affix a sticker on the access point with details such as company name or logo, project number and device host-name. The sticker must be durable, long lasting and easy to read.

V. The tenderer must ensure all cable-ends and wireless access points are labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting, and waterproof.

VI. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in a form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

VII. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

VIII. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on installation, commissioning and Test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period.

4. WIRELESS ACCESS POINT RELOCATION
|

|
|
|
I. A total number of Wireless Access Points that need to be relocated for this project is 64 units.

II. Tenderer shall ensure the existing Wireless Access Points are dismantled properly.

III. The tenderer should ensure existing Wireless Access Point, cabling and other components related functioning as before relocation. The tenderer shall be responsible for any damage that occurs.

IV. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test. The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

5. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
|

|
|
I. Three (3) years of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day 8x5xNBD) and software upgrade shall be provided.

II. Maintenance support is needed during and after the warranty period.

III. Free support through fax, email, and telephone must be provided during the warranty period.

IV. The tenderer must be supported back-to-back by principal to provide maintenance services for equipment supplied.

V. A maximum of 4 hours response time to attend to problem call on breakdown of equipment or component is to abide by the tenderer.

6. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
TENDERER MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND MUST BE PRESENTED IN THIS DOKUMEN TEKNIKAL
