1. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

I. The scope of this project is to deliver, install and configure, test and commission 48 port POE Access Switch.

II. The tenderer must ensure the network access switch supplied is a genuine product from Principal.

III. The tenderer must ensure the network access switch are workable with existing infra UiTM.

IV. The tenderer must ensure the proposed network access switch is a new and not a refurbished or OEM product. The tenderer shall be responsible if there is any issue regarding the product’s authenticity.

V. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that needs to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

VI. The tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT

I. The Access switch must support at least 32-Port Gigabit PoE+ and 16-Port 2.5G PoE+ as well as 4-Port 10G SFP+ uplink with 740W PoE budget

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
|

|
|
I. The tenderer shall provide a user operating / technical manual for UiTM referral upon project delivery.

II. Tenderer must ensure all switches installation and configuration are done by professional engineers.

|
III. The tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment and shall be responsible for any damage that occur.

IV. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in the form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

V. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT) and the tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

VI. The Tenderer shall propose all additional or required licenses to ensure the switch can operate to the optimum.

VII. The tenderer must affix a sticker on every access switch with details such as company name/logo, project number, contact number, and device hostname. The sticker must be durable, long-lasting, and easy to read.

VIII. All necessary adapters, cables, and accessories required shall be provided to make sure this project is well function.

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
|

|
|
I. Three (3) years of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day 8X5XNBD) and software upgrades shall be provided.

II. The Access switch shall have a warranty for a period from date of installation against defects in materials and/or workmanship.

III. Tenderer MUST propose and provide a genuine product.

5. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
TENDERER MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND MUST BE PRESENTED IN THIS DOKUMEN TEKNIKAL
