1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

|
I. The scope of this project is to deliver, install and test, and commission the Fiber cabling end-to-end from point A to point B. This includes the following items and its quantity:

II. The tenderer must ensure the proposed cables is a new and not a refurbished or OEM product. The tenderer shall be responsible if there is any issue regarding the product’s authenticity.

III. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

IV. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by the tenderer so that good service quality is achieved.

V. The tenderer must be able to do integration with the new and existing device (if any). The tenderer must make sure all integration is workable and successful.

VI. All other related software, systems, material, components, equipment and cabling that are not specified but required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment must be provided by the tenderer without any cost to UiTM.

VII. All proposed equivalent items shall be specified in detail in terms of technical specifications, model, and version number. (Please specify).

VIII. Refurbished or OEM products are not accepted by UiTM. The tenderer shall be responsible if there is any issue regarding the authenticity of the product offered.

IX. The tenderer must ensure UTP cable follows the standard specification electrical material approval list by JKR.

X. The tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment and shall be responsible for any damage occurred.

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
|

|
|
I. The tenderer shall provide a user operating / technical manual for UiTM referral upon project delivery.

II. Tenderer must ensure all switches installation and configuration are done by professional engineers.

III. The tenderer must make sure all works are done properly without any damage to the existing infra/equipment and shall be responsible for any damage that occur.

IV. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in the form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

V. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT) and the tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

VI. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run, and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on the installation, commissioning and test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period.

VII. The tenderer shall propose all additional or required licenses to ensure the device can operate to the optimum.

VIII. The tenderer must affix a sticker on every device with details such as company name/logo, project number, contact number, and device hostname. The sticker must be durable, long-lasting, and easy to read.

IX. All necessary adapters, cables, and accessories required shall be provided to make sure this project is well function.

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNCAL SUPPORT
|

|
|
I. The tenderer must provide a duration of extended product and application warranty maintenance support from the principal or distributor for the following items:
i.Fiber cable end to end - 25 years
ii.Fiber patch panel - 1 year
iii.Fiber patch cord - 1 year

II. The tenderer must submit to UiTM the certificate / any proof that shows UiTM is entitle for 25 years Extended Product and Application Warranty upon project handover

III. Maintenance support is needed during and after the warranty period. Tenderers must provide details of addresses of locations of after-sales service centers that shall be responsible for maintenance work for these items during the warranty period.

V. A maximum of 4 hours response time to attend to problem call on breakdown of equipment or component is to abide by the tenderer.

5. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
TENDERER MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS WITH THE TENDER PROPOSAL, PRESENTED IN DOKUMEN TEKNIKAL.

I. The tenderer shall provide all related catalogues/brochure, and the document must be presented in Dokumen Teknikal.
