1. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

II. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

III. The tenderer must ensure the availability, operability, reliability and functionality of the supplied item components to function properly.

IV. The tenderer must ensure the proposed network rack is a new and not a refurbished or OEM product. The tenderer shall be responsible if there is any issue regarding the product’s authenticity.

V. All proposed software must complete a working model with educational licensing and discounts and must be a GENUINE COPY.

VI. The tenderer must ensure that the supplied hardware meets the specified specification requirements and if there is any problem regarding the hardware model, the tenderer must replace it with hardware that is equivalent or better than the specified specifications.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT

|
I. Minimum dimension of the wall mounted Network Rack is :12U : with minimum size 500 x 600 x 700

II. The Network rack shall be a reliable welded frame.

III. The Network Rack Must have Ventilation slots front and sides.

IV. The Network Rack Must have a minimum 2 fan on top of the racks.

V. The Network Rack Must have cable access panels top and bottom.

VI. The Network Rack Must Include adjustable mounting rails.

VII. The Network Rack Must have a glass door with 180°C opening and complete with lock and key.

IX. The Network Rack Must have at least 5 units 13A S/S/0 power outlet.

XI. The Network Rack shall be lockable and tenderer must provide the key to UiTM after project is complete.

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
|

|
|
I. The tenderer is required to provide full data cabling, power cabling, connector, cable marking, installation, termination and all other accessories.

II. All systems require new electrical supply directly from the nearest electrical DB in GI conduit to avoid humming and noise to the system. Looping is strictly prohibited.

III. The tenderer must ensure that all terminal or interface work meet UiTM requirements. The tenderer must add and bear the cost for additional accessories and extenders needed.

IV. All equipments customized brackets or panels shall be proper install and adequate to withstand the weight of the equipment.

V. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by the tenderer so that good service quality is achieved.

VI. The tenderer must affix a sticker on the device with details such as company name or logo, project number and device host-name. The sticker must be durable, long lasting and easy to read.

VII. The tenderer must ensure all cable-ends and wireless access points are labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting, and waterproof.

VIII. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in a form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance.

IX. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM.

X. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on installation, commissioning and Test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period.

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
|

|
I. The warranty must cover 8 hours x 5 days x NBD (next business day).

II. The item shall have at least One (1) year of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day) and software upgrade shall be provided.

III. Free support through fax, email, and telephone must be provided during the warranty period

5. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
TENDERER MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND MUST BE PRESENTED IN THIS DOKUMEN TEKNIKAL
