1. GENREAL REQUIREMENTS

I. The scope of this project is to deliver, install, test, and commission the UTP cabling end-to-end from patch panel to nodes.

II. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that needs to be added, it shall be proposed by the tenderer.

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

V. The UTP cabling shall include all necessary items for complete installation, such as proper trunking and conduit, patch cords, modular jacks, faceplates, cross-connect cables, cable guides, and other accessories required to connect specified end-stations to the proposed switches.

VI. The tenderer shall ensure all items are labelled, and the label must be easily read, long-lasting, and waterproof as required as specified by UiTM.

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

I. The tenderer must provide twenty-five (25) years of extended product and application warranty maintenance support from principal or distributor for end to end cabling and other item shall cover 1 Year Warranty.

II. The UTP Cabling shall have a warranty for a period from date of installation against defects in materials and/or workmanship.
