1. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

I. The scope of this project is to deliver, install, test, and commission.

II. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate
well with the existing system. Should any component that needs to be added, it shall be proposed by the
tenderer.

III. The tenderer needs to propose relevant and current specifications, better than the user’s requirements.

IV. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by the tenderer so that good service
quality is achieved.

V. The tenderer must be able to do integration with the new and existing device (if any). The tenderer must
make sure all integration is workable and successful.

VI. All other related software, systems, material, components, equipment and cabling that are not specified
but required to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment must be provided
by the tenderer without any cost to UiTM.

VII. All proposed equivalent items shall be specified in detail in terms of technical specifications, model, and
version number.

VIII. Refurbished or OEM products are not accepted by UiTM. The tenderer shall be responsible if there is
any issue regarding the authenticity of the product offered.

IX. The tenderer shall include dismantle and re-cabling work (if any), and must make sure all works are done
properly without any damage to the existing infrastructure or equipment. The tenderer shall be
responsible for any damage that occurs.

X. If there is a delay in project delivery, the tenderer must apply for an extension at least 1 month before
the delivery period ends.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT

I. The Wireless Access Points proposed MUST support controller-based or standalone deployment

3. INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
|

|
|
I. Tenderer must ensure the installation of the wireless access point at the optimum level and if the installation of L Bracket is required in a particular location, the tenderer must provide it

II. The tenderer shall provide a security lock for each access point installed to avoid theft

III. System setup and configuration must be performed and made good by the tenderer so that good service quality is achieved

IV. Tenderer must affix a sticker on the access point with details such as company name or logo, project number, contact number and device host-name. The sticker must be durable, long lasting and easy to read

V. Tenderer must ensure all cable-ends and wireless access points are labeled and the label must be easily read, lasting, and waterproof

VI. The tenderer shall prepare a complete and comprehensive commissioning report in a form of hardcopy and softcopy after delivery, installation, and testing to ensure the item and accompanying software or the whole package has adhered to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before the final acceptance

VII. The comprehensive commissioning report must include the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The tenderer must also include other additional documents as proof if requested by UiTM

VIII. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run and commissioning of the equipment and accompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on installation, commissioning and Test run shall be borne by the tenderer during the warranty period

IX. All proposed software must complete a working model with educational licensing and discounts and must
be a GENUINE COPY

X. Tenderer must document all wireless access point configuration, management IP address and location in
hard copy and must be submitted to UiTM

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

I. At least One (1) year of maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day 8X5XNBD) and software upgrade shall be provided.

II. Maintenance support is needed during and after the warranty period. Tenderers must provide details of addresses of locations of after sales service centers that shall be responsible for maintenance work for these items during the warranty period

5. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
TENDERER MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND MUST BE PRESENTED IN THIS DOKUMEN TEKNIKAL
