1. 1.GENERAL REQUIREMENT

I. The scope of this project is to deliver, install and configure, testing and commissioning 24 port POE Access Switch.

II. The tenderer needs to propose the optimum specification for the equipment to function and integrate well with the existing system. Should any component that need to be added shall be proposed by the tenderer.

3. 3.INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

|
I. Tenderer shall provide a user operating / technical manual for UiTM referral.

II. All other related software, systems, material, components, cabling and other accessories which arerequired to ensure full operation and integration with new or existing equipment of the item must be provided by the tenderer.

III. The tenderer shall be responsible for the installation, test-run and commissioning of the equipment andaccompanying software to the satisfaction of UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA before final acceptance. All costs on installation, commissioning and test run shall be borne by tenderer during the warranty period.

IV. Tenderer shall proposed all additional or required license to ensure the switch can operate to theoptimum.

V. Tenderer must document all switches configuration, management IP address and location in hard copy and must be submitted to UiTM.

VI. Any cost related to installation and configuration shall be borne by the tenderer.

4. 4.WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
|

|
|
I. Two (2) year sof maintenance support consists of equipment faulty replacement (Next Business Day 8X5XNBD) and software upgrade shall be provided.

II. The distribution switch shall have warranty for a period from date of installation against defects in materials and/or workmanship.

III. Tenderer MUST propose and provide a genuine product.

IV. Tenderer must ensure all switches installation and configuration are done by professional engineers.

V. Maintenance support is needed during and after the warranty period. Tenderers must provide details of addresses of locations after sales service centres that shall be responsible for maintenance work for these items during the warranty period.

VI. Free support through fax, email, telephone must be provided during the warranty period.

VII. The successful tenderer must be supported back to back by principal to provide maintenance services forequipment supplied.

VIII. If there is a delay in project delivery, Tenderer must apply for extension at least 1 month before the delivery period ends.

5. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
