6. CABLING AND INSTALLATION
|

I. Vendor is required to provide full Video, Audio and Computer Cabling, Connector, Cable Marking, Installation and termination the above system with stated brand name in working condition with relevant connectivity and accepted by UiTM.

II. Vendor must install and integrate all equipment supplied to be a one complete system.

III. Vendor must ensure that all terminal or interface work meet UiTM requirement. Vendor must add and bear the cost for additional accessories and extender need if the proposed quantity not enough.

IV. To install and cabling, all item must use high quality cable. Vendors are responsible for any mistake and accidence that happen during installation period.

V. All equipment connection and interacking should be properly terminated with relevant connectors. Proper labeling should be applied upon termination.

VI. All equipment customized brackets or panels shall be proper install and adequate to withstand the weight of the equipment where drawings should be needed for approval before any works be carried out.

VII. All system requires new electrical supply directly from master DB unit to avoid humming and noise to the system. Looping as strictly prohibited.

VIII. Entire suggested equipments shall have a proper ventilation.

IX. Vendor must integrates the supplied equipment with existing system to be a one complete system and any additional cabling if required is borne by the vendor.

X. PROJECT REQUIREMENT
The Contractor shall provide all labor, material tools, equipment, supervision and other related items required to complete the project as per scope of work and specifications. Contractors are advised to visit the site, verify the existing site conditions to develop their proposal on installing the new speakers system.

A ) Dismantle all the existing speakers at the Front of House Stage, Delay Speaker (Side of Hall), Stage Speaker, Audience Speaker, Chain Hoist, Cabling and all equipment in AV control room including mixers and power amplifiers for new installation as described below (all item should be well organized and deliver into UiTM store).

B ) Observe manufacturer's recommendations in regard to preparation of surfaces to receive new speaker system and all relevant equipment.

C ) Install new speaker, use only recommended mounting and installation methods and hardware with the required alignment capability for a given speaker in a given application. This allows proper aiming and acoustic performance for the speaker systems.

D ) The speaker cabling shall include all necessary item for a complete installation such as a proper trunking/tray/conduit, speaker point (speakon faceplate), cable management (comply with chain hoist system), speaker plug twist lock (neutrik or equivalent), pools cable and other accessories required to connect specified end to end installation.

7. SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

|
I. Warranty for the equipment is expected to be at least one (1) year.

II. Must provide comprehensive and extensive after sales service on labour and overall parts.

III. Must provide warranty letter direct from local or authorized manufacturer or distributor on delivery of the equipment.

8. TRAINING
|

|
|
I. Vendors are required to provide training for the use, maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of the equipment to the staff of UiTM.

II. Training should be conducted for seven (7) persons of staff or more assigned by UiTM.

III. The duration of training at least two (2) working days (8 hours per day x 2 days = 16 hours).

IV. The duration / time / training syllabus / number of participants for the training would be discussed on delivery of the equipment.
